Production Blog Post 11/21

The shots that I take, are all made purposely throughout the day, to show the time passing. So the film starts out at night, then changes to morning, and then changes to afternoon/dusk. Now with the challenges of Daylight savings, I had to plan out school, weekend, and at the time, rehearsal for the show.

For my film, I definitely chose one of the harder ones to do. There is a lot of audio over-laying as well as a lot of different things happening at the same time. I've been focused on lining everything up, as well as trying to plan out how to include the sounds I want for my film, in with the other three or four layers I will have.

The shots that I have here, are the ones that i will be getting rid of, for the most part. These were one of the first things I filmed, and due to me getting a haircut, I had to get rid of these, but I am still using them as resources/a guide. With the shots at the graveyard that you'll see in the film, I made sure to bring my tripod, and due to it just being me working on the film, It was a bit more challenging.

This whole film has been a bit challenging, but that is what I love about it, is the challenge that it holds- and I am very excited to see what it looks like when it is done and all put together- That is what is keeping my motivation going, and the need for success and the determination I have to complete these films, that'll showcase my talent and passion for what I want to do. I am excited to learn from others, and get criticism, because it'll help in my progress of growing as a director/filmmaker.
