Blog invest. and Work log

Work Log for week of October 25-29th For my Post investigation, I will be talking a little about how my week went with script writing. Everything was pretty smooth. I made sure to read back over it and edit it for a day or two, before creating the final product, and listening to music ideas, for backing tracks. It has been kind of hard, figuring out which song will go with the speaking of the characters, and whether or not, it is too much, too little, or has no emotion at all. With filming at home, I will be making sure to use my tri-pod that I have, and if needed I can always borrow one from the school and get camera/equipment that I may not have at home. This film will be at two locations, my house, and a graveyard. It shows the emotions, the time pass, and the comfortable/not comfortable feeling, that'll you'll see and experience throughout the whole film.   Sources: https://www.edmsauce.com/2017/11/09/copyright-free-music/

Investigation Blog Post

Image
For my Investigation Posts, I will be using the Process Page. The Process Page is a reflection page that someone takes pictures randomly through your production sequence. Once I have those pictures, I will explain what I'm doing, am I having trouble/are things going alright? And, am I satisfied with my progress.  Pre-production: Pre-Production, is the first step. It's me thinking of a film idea, and writing down notes/ideas. It is also where you create the script, storyboard, and do location and cast hunting. It's the thing that every director and create of a story/film needs to do. They might higher someone, or ask for volunteers to help make it faster. The director is also in charge of working with the cast and do run throughs of the script, to give them notes and help them in becoming the character they are playing. Asking questions like; "What would (Insert Character name) do in this situation". And that would help the cast in developing a better idea.   ...

Text and Image

Image
What have you learned about Text & Image? - Something that I've learned was that, when an artist is using Text and Image, they are trying to put more of a point across to the public who are looking at it. For example, in 2006 Banksy and Theirry Guetta went to Disneyland and hung up and inflatable figure wearing all orange, but a black top for the head. He snuck into a lite hidden area and set it up on a fence that faced a ride. He did this, so he could show or and provide social commentary on the War on Terror, and the mistreatment in Guantanamo. Now, that doesn't necessarily cover the text aspect, but sometimes you don't need to say anything to get your point across. Another example that DOES use text and image, would be the art Barbara Kruger made. This picture is one that can go along the lines of today's society. Women all over the world are still trying to fight for their own rights. In Texas, the law that was made on women's abortion, the people there, ...
